Hosea 13:1-16

Everybody wants to be respected. The question, though, is what cost are we willing to pay for it? In his final (and most devastating) declaration of judgment against God's people, Hosea shows us that when we chase the respect of men, we always catch the wrath of God. But through the shadow of judgment, the light of God's mercy shines all the more brilliantly as He promises a hope that could only come through the death & resurrection of Jesus.
