Hosea 11:1-12

God is always calling us to follow Him...but He's not the only one. Satan is just as committed to discipleship as God is. The question is: "Whose voice will we listen to?" What the LORD reminds us of in Hosea 11, though, is that even when we pay attention to the wrong voice(s), He never stops calling and He never stops pursuing us. And why? Because He's not like us! This means that: [1] God adopts us (knowing who we really are); [2] God disciplines us (knowing that we won't learn); & [3] God keeps on loving us (knowing what it will cost).
